Appointments

All patients require a GP referral letter. If you have a concern about your skin, please contact your GP, who can refer you if needed.

Please note the clinic is not accepting any new referrals at present.

Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your allocated appointment time. Please wear a face covering, such as a mask, when attending your appointment. You will be asked to sanitise your hands on arrival and a temperature check may also be carried out. You may be requested to wait in your car until Dr. O'Shea is ready to see you, as the clinic can be quite busy. We will try to keep to the allocated appointment time but unforeseen delays can occur during clinics and we would ask for your patience in this regard.

Please do not attend the clinic if:

  • you have any symptoms that might suggest COVID-19
  • you have returned from outside Ireland within the past 14 days
  • you have a close contact who has been confirmed to have COVID-19
  • you or a close contact are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test

In the interest of limiting contacts, you will be asked to attend clinic on your own, save in exceptional circumstances. Please contact us in advance if additional assistance is needed.

A full skin examination is offered to all patients (undressed as far as underwear). If you have a skin concern involving your face, please attend your appointment free of make-up. If you have a skin concern involving the nails, please do not wear nail varnish or artificial nails on any of your nails.

If you need to cancel your appointment for whatever reason, please provide as much notice as possible, so that the appointment can be offered to another patient. In the event that your appointment is cancelled, for whatever reason, we will endeavour to reschedule the appointment as soon as is practicable.

Please note that parking may not always be available in the immediate vicinity but there are several car parks nearby, including at Eglington Street (near the Elysian). You should allow sufficient time for travel and transfer to and from the South Terrace Medical Centre.

Please note the clinic is not accepting any new referrals at present.
